Watford have signed Danish winger Philip Zinckernagel on a free transfer from Bodo/Glimt.

Albacete have signed Spanish midfielder Tana on a free transfer.

Former West Bromwich Albion midfielder Claudio Yacob has been released by Nacional.

Goias have released former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro.

Andres Perea has joined Orlando City from Atletico Nacional of Colombia. Also joining MLS side Orlando is young Ecuadorian winger Alexander Alvarado from SD Aucas. Brazilian defender Antonio Carlos has also joined Orlando from Palmeiras. Orlando City have also paid £369,000 to sign Rodrigo Schlegel from Racing Club in Argentina.

Sporting Kansas City have signed Gadi Kinda from Beitar Jerusalem for a fee of over £3m. Remi Walter has joined on a free transfer. Kansas have released Erik Hurtado, Gerso, Matt Besler and Felipe Gutierrez.

Veteran Colombian midfielder Fredy Guarin has signed for Millionarios.

39 year old former VfL Wolfsburg attacker Andres D’Alessandro has been released by Internacional.

Union Berlin have loaned young keeper Lennart Moser to Austria Klagenfurt.

Fiorentina’s Brazilian striker Pedro has been sold to Flamengo for £12.5m.

Major League Soccer’s New England Revolution have signed Wilfrid Kaptoum on a free transfer.

Leaving LA Galaxy on a free is Rolf Feltscher to join Arminia Bielefeld. Leaving Bielefeld is Brian Behrendt, who has joined Eintracht Braunschweig.

FC Dallas have signed Jader Obrian from Rionegro Aguila and Jose Antonio Martinez from SD Eibar. They have released former Spurs and Juventus defender Reto Ziegler and let winger Santiago Mosquera join Pachuca on a free transfer. Dallas have also sold Pablo Aranguiz to Universidad de Chile for £450,000.

Los Angeles FC have released Mohamed El-Munir and Andy Najar.

Portland Timbers have signed Claudio Bravo (an Argentine left-back not the Manchester City keeper) from CA Banfield for £1.23m. Leaving the Timbers is Larry Mabiala, who was released, and Marco Farfan, who has joined Los Angeles FC for a fee of around £245,000.

Hungarian midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has completed his move to RB Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg for £18m.

Former Manchester United captain Antonio Valencia has joined Queretaro on a free transfer.

Schalke 04 have released veteran Bosnian striker Vedad Ibisevic.

Atlanta United have released Erick Torres and paid about £3m to sign Erik Lopez from Olimpia.

FC Cincinnati have released Kendall Waston, Greg Garxa, Mathieu Deplagne and Spencer Richey. Siem de Jong has signed for Heerenveen on a free transfer.

Manchester City have paid £7.65m for teenage winger Filip Stevanovic from Partizan Belgrade.

Vancouver Whitecaps have paid £531,000 for Serbian defender Ranko Veselinovic from Vojvodina.

Red Bull Salzburg have paid £4.59m for young midfielder Brenden Aaronson from Philadelphia Union.

Malaga have released Emanuel Cecchini.

Brazilian winger Hulk has been released by Shanghai SIPG.

Borussia Monchengladbach have paid less than £2m for teenage American right-back Joe Scally from New York City FC.

Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Everton are looking to make Robin Olsen’s loan move to the Toffees a permanent deal.

Celta Vigo’s teenage defender Stefan Bajcetic has signed for Liverpool for a fee of around £224,000. Also signing for the Reds is another teenage defender, Calum Scanlon from Birmingham City for £400,000.

Amad Diallo has completed his £18.9m move to Manchester United from Atalanta.


Injury Round-Up

Lincoln City boss Michael Appleton is in self-isolation after testing positive for CV, as has goalkeeping coach Steve Croudsen.

Galatasaray’s Norwegian international Omar Elabdellaoui was taken to hospital on New Year’s Eve after being hurt by a firework. The 29 year old suffered burns to his face and damage to his eyes when a firework exploded in his hand. There are fears that he may have lost his sight.

Five Manchester City players are ruled out of Sunday’s game at Chelsea on Sunday due to positive CV tests.

Paris Saint-Germain’s on-loan goalkeeper Marcin Bulka, who is spending the season with Cartagena, has tested CV positive for the second time.

Games Off

Barrow v Exeter City in League Two has been postponed due to a frozen pitch. The game between Accrington Stanley and Portsmouth in League One is also off for the same reason. In the Championship, the virus is continuing to wreak havoc and the game between Bristol City and Brentford and Queens Park Rangers match at Luton Town are both off due to positive tests.
