FA Cup To Continue
All 40 of the FA Cup first round ties are to be played despite England going into lockdown. There were fears that the 10 teams who were not covered under the ‘elite sports’ protocols might not have been able to take part but the government have confirmed that they will be covered under the elite protocols for the time they are participating in the FA Cup.
