Spurs beat their London rivals on penalties in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup following a late Erik Lamela equaliser to draw the game for Jose Mourinho’s side.
In the Premier League, Spurs are currently on four points from nine available, as Mourinho and Daniel Levy look to strengthen even more before the international window closes on Monday at 11pm.
Here, we have gathered the very latest Tottenham transfer rumours from around Europe.
Reports claim Spurs set to land £22m striker deal
Tottenham is Arkadiusz Milik’s most likely destination this summer transfer window, according to Italian publication Corriere dello Sport (via Sport Witness).
Milik has been linked with Spurs all summer-long, as Mourinho looks to add depth to his striking options.
According to the report in Italy, Manchester City have also made an approach for the Poland striker, but Spurs is “the most authentic” option for the 26-year-old.
The Napoli forward is desperate for a move away from the Serie A club, after moves to Juventus and Roma both collapsed.
Foyth in ‘advanced talks’ with move to Villarreal
Tottenham are in ‘advanced talks’ with La Liga side Villarreal over the loan move of Argentine defender Juan Foyth.
That’s according to Spanish outlet AS, who claim a deal is close to being completed for the temporary move of Foyth.
The 22-year-old has made just 16 appearances in the Premier League since joining from Estudiantes back in 2017 for £8m.
Foyth’s contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is set to expire in 2022, and Spurs may have a big decision to make next summer.

Celtic deal for Sessegnon could prove ‘problematic’
Celtic’s proposed move for Tottenham youngster Ryan Sessegnon is now in doubt with the finances of the deal proving ‘problematic’.
Sky Sports are reporting that the Scottish champions made an official approach for Sessegnon, as they search for a new left-back.
However, the deal is now unlikely as the former Fulham man is too expensive for the Hoops.
The 20-year-old moved to Spurs from Craven Cottage last summer for £20m, but has failed to secure a first-team position in north London.
