Jose Mourinho has signed five players so far this summer and the boss has until 11pm on Monday, October 5 to do deals with clubs abroad.
However, there is a domestic-only transfer window which runs until 5pm on Friday, October 16 which will allow UK clubs to carry out transfers between each other.
Spurs made it into the last eight of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night with a penalty shoot-out win over Chelsea.
Here are the latest Spurs rumours doing the rounds.
Spurs are keeping tabs on Chelsea’s German defender Antonio Rudiger.
The centre-back has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge and appears to be heading for the exit door.
Jose Mourinho’s side see Rudiger has a potential alternative should they not land first-choice target Milan Škriniar of Inter Milan.
However, any move for Rudiger could be tricky with the Blues reluctant to sell the German to a Premier League rival.
Frank Lampard would prefer an overseas exit for a player who has two years left on his current contract.
Liverpool urged to sign Alli
Ex Liverpool striker Stan Collymore has urged his former club to go and sign Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli.
The England player has fallen down the pecking order under Jose Mourinho in recent weeks and has played just two games so far this season.
The 24-year-old, who is a boyhood Liverpool fans, almost joined the Reds from MK Dons before making the switch to north London.
In his column for the Daily Mirror, Collymore wrote: “Liverpool have had a knack of getting their recruitment bang on in recent years and you could argue that, with Thiago Alcantara’s arrival, their midfield doesn’t have room for another new signing.
“But I’m telling you, if Jurgen Klopp can get his talons into this kid, give him a shake, get rid of the happy-clappy juvenile and turn him into a hard-nosed midfielder, Liverpool could do much worse than Alli.”
Offer in for centre-back
Tottenham have submitted a £22.7m offer for young Brazilian centre-back Roger Ibanez.
The AS Roma defender is being tracked by Spurs, according to Italian newspaper Il Messaggero, as Jose Mourinho eyes a sixth summer signing.

Spurs are after a new centre-back following Jan Vertonghen’s exit and have been linked with Inter Milan’s Milan Skriniar.
The deal for Ibanez has reportedly been rejected, however, and there are further complications due to the fact the player is on an 18-month loan in the Italian capital from Atalanta.
PSG in for Alli
Champions League finalists Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly held talks with Tottenham over a move for Alli.
French outlet Foot Mercato report Alli has spoken to Spurs teammate and ex PSG defender Serge Aurier about a move to the French capital.
Alli is said to be open to a move to Ligue 1 having fallen out of favour at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
