Spurs are said to be chasing both a striker and a defender but they have less than a week to get business done with the deadline on October 5.
A whole host of players have been linked with a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, meanwhile, a number of players have been tipped to leave.
Below we take you through all the latest on the transfer front.
Rudiger to Spurs
Tottenham are tipped to make a shock move for Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger.
According to Sky Sports, if Spurs miss out on prime target Milan Skriniar.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard recently failed to move outa Rudiger departure.
“I wouldn’t assume anything,” he said. “And I wouldn’t assume Antonio or any players in the squad (are leaving).”
Spurs still interested in left-back
Spurs are still interested in Lille left-back Mehmet Zeki Celik despite the signing of Matt Doherty.
That’s according to the player’s former manager Yalcin Kosukavak, who told Ajansspor: “Mehmet Zeki Celik worked together in Istanbulspor.
“At that time, Lille transferred Mehmet Zeki under the authority of their sporting director Luiz Campos. Lille invested in Mehmet Zeki’s potential and was able to do so.
“When I spoke to Mehmet Zeki, he said sevilla and tottenham wanted him. For Mehmet Zeki, Lille has a bond fee. If this fee is paid, Mehmet Zeki can leave Lille.”
Alli departure could happen
Tottenham could sanction Dele Alli’s departure this summer, according to reports.
RMC Sport claim PSG are readying an offer for the out-of-favour Spurs midfielder with Alli very much keen on a move.
And reports claim the French club are increasingly confident of pulling off a move with Spurs understood to be considering allowing Alli’s departure.
Mourinho has maintained that Alli is part of the Spurs puzzle going forward, but the playmaker was again left out of the Tottenham squad last weekend.
