Milan Skriniar blow
Tottenham have been handed a blow in their pursuit of Milan Skriniar following comments made by an Inter Milan chief on Saturday.
Jose Mourinho’s side have been heavily linked with a move for the defender this summer, with it suggested that Inter are prepared to cash in on his services.
However, speaking to DAZN, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio stated: “Tottenham are interested in Milan Skriniar. We had a meeting but we told them we don’t want to sell also Skriniar after Diego Godin.”
Mourinho’s Tanguy Ndombele admission
Jose Mourinho believes Tanguy Ndombele deserves all the credit for his transformation this season and that he realised his Tottenham Hotspur career was going in the wrong direction.
Mourinho was left delighted with the performance of a gifted player now adding workrate to his talent.
“I’m very happy. I say all the time, when a player improves it’s a player’s responsibility, it’s the player’s credit, it’s not the coach who makes the miracle,” said the Spurs head coach.
“The player that does that by himself, to understand what he has to understand and go in the right direction that he has to go.”

Solskjaer aims cheeky dig at Mourinho
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could not resist a cheeky reference to Jose Mourinho after Manchester United had the woodwork to thank in their dramatic victory over Brighton & Hove Albion.
Things could have been so different had Brighton not hit the woodwork so much and Solskjaer admitted as much when speaking to BT Sport.
The United boss also referenced Mourinho’s incident from earlier this week, when the Tottenham Hotspur boss revealed he had got the goalposts changed before his side’s Europa League tie with Shkendija.
Solskjaer said: “First of all you have to be happy Jose isn’t here to measure the goalposts – it might have been a smaller goal!”
