Tottenham transfer rumours: Spurs’ advantage over Everton in Milik race, Skriniar’s stance

There are just nine days of the summer transfer window remaining as clubs look to complete their business.

It is no different for Jose Mourinho and Tottenham as they prepare to face four different competitions this season, meaning that the whole squad will be needed.

Mourinho has added four new faces to his squad, with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Matt Doherty, Sergio Rugilion and Gareth Bale all arriving.

But it seems that Tottenham are not done there in the transfer window as they look to add players at both ends of the pitch.

With not much time left to complete deals, transfer rumours around clubs are ramping up.

With that in mind, here are the latest from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Spurs handed boost in Milik race

Tottenham have been handed a boost in their hopes of beating Premier League rivals Everton in the race for Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik.

Spurs are keen to add attacking reinforcements this summer, with Milik emerging as a potential candidate.

However, Everton are said to have also been offered the chance to sign the forward during the current transfer window.

But according to the Daily Mail , the Toffees would only be able to complete a deal should they manage to offload Moise Kean this summer, giving Spurs the chance to make their move.

Milan Skriniar’s stance

Tottenham are also on the lookout for defensive reinforcements and have been heavily linked with Milan Skriniar in recent days.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport (via SportWitness ), the player has his heart set on a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer, with an official bid from Spurs expected soon.

Arsenal urged to make Dele Alli move

There has been a lot of talk around the future of Dele Alli under Jose Mourinho, with the possibility of the England man moving on this summer.

And Arsenal have been urged to make a move for the Spurs midfielder by former player Ray Parlour.

I’ve always said they (Arsenal) are lacking goals from midfield,” he told TalkSPORT .

“I don’t think Spurs would sell Dele Alli to Arsenal, I think there would be uproar from the Spurs fans if that happened.

“He would certainly be a good fit. I’m trying to think what he would be worth. I would say £50m has got to be the marker.
