Erik Lamela, Son Heung-Min and Harry Kane all got on the score sheet in Bulgaria to set-up a meeting with Maccabi Haifa from Israel next Thursday night. A win in north London next week will secure a group stage spot in the competitions for Jose Mourinho’s side.
Spurs are back in Premier League action on Sunday when they host Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon where they will look to carry on from where they left off after beating Southampton 5-2 on Sunday afternoon.
With the transfer window closing in less than two weeks’ time across Europe, time is running out for Spurs to make any further additions to their squad.
Here are the latest Spurs transfer rumours.
Spurs eye Gray move
Tottenham are said to be monitoring the future of Leicester City winger Demarai Gray, who is said to have turned down offers of a new contract at the King Power Stadium.
Gray has just a year left on his deal with the Foxes and Football Insider are reporting that Spurs are keen to prize him away from the East Midlands with doubts over his long-term future.
The 24-year-old has struggled for regular minutes at Leicester and last month, Football Insider also reported that Gray had held talks with Mourinho.
Moncao monitor Alli
French side Monaco are said to be keeping a close eye on the futures of Dele Alli and Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Alli has been linked away from north London, with Hudson-Odoi also being linked with a loan exit away from Stamford Bridge.
Reports from Graeme Bailey suggest that both Alli and Hudson-Odoi are being tracked by Monaco’s sporting director Paul Mitchell, who previously worked at Spurs and helped to sign Dele Alli from Milton Keynes Dons in 2015.
