Jose Mourinho is understood to want a striker and a centre-back before the transfer window slams shut in early October.
Meanwhile, there could also be exits with Dele Alli still being linked with a departure amid his complicated relationship with Mourinho.
Below we run you through all the latest transfer news as it relates to Spurs.
Disagreement over fee for Skriniar
Spurs are yet to agree a fee for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.
According to Tutto Mercato, the two clubs are struggling to agree on a fee with Spurs offering around £45million and Inter demanding £55million.
The report claims Daniel Levy does not want to pay that much for a centre-back.
But Tottenham are keen to land Skriniar and they could be tempted into upping their bid with time running out in the window.
Milik could happen
A Tottenham move for Napoli frontman Arkadiusz Milik could yet be a ‘possibility’ according to reports in Italy.
Corriere Dello Sport report that Spurs are quietly working on a deal at arm’s length.
Talks are not said to be at an advanced stage, but Spurs are said to be gauging whether Milik would want a move.
Meanwhile, Il Mattino say Milik to Tottenham is the ‘most likely solution’.
Alli attracts Monaco interest
French club Monaco have registered an interest in signing Dele Alli.
That’s according to 90min, who say the French club are interested in both Alli and Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Alli was left out of Spurs’ squad to face Southampton in the Premier League last weekend, sparking talk of an exit.
PSG were linked with a move, but any interest is said to have cooled.
