Alexandre Lacazette had put Mikel Arteta’s side ahead, only for Michail Antonio to equalise on the stroke of half time.
Nektiah scored with practically his first touch after being introduced from the bench and his late winner was laid on by a man who he was separated for last weekend.
The pair almost came to blows during a training drill in the warm-up against Fulham before their teammates had to come in and separate them.
However, Nektiah explained that the pair made friends instantly and were in perfect harmony on the field after linking up for a crucial goal that secured three points.
“You know, there was a bit of a coming together, I was a bit upset with the challenge he put in,” Nketiah told Sky Sports
