Luis Suarez stance
Reports on Friday suggested that Juventus had agreed terms with Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud, with the Frenchman seen as an alternative to Barcelona’s Luis Suarez.
The Italian champions are looking for a new striker after agreeing to release Gonzalo Higuain, with Suarez believed to be among their top targets.
Giroud had emerged as a serious alternative with the French forward facing a battle to nail down a first-team spot at Chelsea this season.
But it is understood that the World Cup winning striker is happy to stay at Chelsea and fight for his place.
This leaves Juventus with a big decision to make over Suarez.
And according to Deportes Cuatro, Suarez is open to joining Juve, but a late approach from Atletico Madrid has created a dilemma, with the former Liverpool striker preferring to stay in Spain.
