Chelsea have been very active in the transfer market this summer, spending more than £200m, but they may not be done.
There could be more coming in and indeed leaving Stamford Bridge before the transfer window shuts, and below we have all the latest on the transfer front.
Liverpool enter Brozovic race
Liverpool could challenge Chelsea for Marcelo Brozovic amid reports Manchester United are in to sign Thiago.
The Reds are claimed to have tracked the Inter Milan midfielder earlier this year – along with Man United and Man City and 90Min claim they could formalise their interest later this summer.
Brozovic, under contract at San Siro until 2022, is valued at around £45-£50million, but that price tag is not putting pursuers off.
The 27-year-old is a defensive midfielder who, as far as Chelsea re concerned, could be an alternative to the £70m Declan Rice.
Chelsea stay away from Thiago
Chelsea have not entered the race to sign former Bayern midfielder Thiago Alcantara.
The Spain international could be available for €30million this summer and he is attracting interest from Man United and Liverpool.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have not been lured into that race.
“Chelsea have not made any contact for Thiago Alcantara – just to be clear,” he wrote on Twitter.
“Manchester United had a contact with his agent days ago but have not started any official talk with Bayern Münich.
“So quiet atm. And Jurgen Klopp would love to have Thiago as new #LFC signing.”
AC Milan striker Bakayoko deal
Chelsea have reportedly struck an agreement with AC Milan over the loan of Tiemoue Bakayoko.
According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan will sign their former loan star for a loan fee of €3million with an option of signing him permanently for €30million (£26.8m).
Bakayoko spent last season on loan at Monaco after spending the season before at San Siro.
The 26-year-old has spent one full season with the Blues despite arriving on a £40million deal.
