Gunners on verge of double deal
Arsenal are close to extending the contract of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and completing the signing of Willian this week.
Aubameyang is set to put pen-to-paper on a new three-year deal at the Emirates Stadium, worth around £250,000-a-week.
Whilst Willian is set to join the Gunners on a free transfer following his departure from London rivals Chelsea earlier this month.

Arteta’s Klopp comparisons
Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown has compared Mikel Arteta to Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, and believes the Spaniard could potentially replicate the German’s recent success at Anfield.
Klopp won the Champions League in 2019 and delivered the Reds’ first-ever Premier League title in the following season.
Keown said to football.london : “We’ve heard Jurgen Klopp say about the history of that club, when they walk into that club and they see the trophies they’ve won and the players they’ve had. Arsenal is no different. With the FA Cup, we’ve almost moved competitions.
“Consistency wins you Premier League trophies, that’s the difference. You’ve only got to win six matches to win an FA Cup but nonetheless you’ve still got to beat the best teams. The last five winners have all done that.”

Porto set Pereira price-tag
Reported Arsenal target Danilo Pereira will cost “something close” to €30m, if they were to pursue a deal for the Porto midfielder.
O Jogo, via Sport Witness, are reporting that Pereira will be available to leave the Portuguese side, but none of the clubs interested have offered the appropriate money so far.
There has been speculation that Arsenal will be willing to spend €20m on Pereira, but that would force Porto to reject the offer, the report states.
The Dragons turned down a €30m offer for the defensive midfielder last summer, but they now believe that is a fair price for the 28-year-old.
