New Nike kit leaked
Nike appear to have leaked Tottenham’s new home kit for the 2020/21 season on their website.
Spotted by the Last Word on Spurs Twitter account, the leaked images of the shirt which have been doing the rounds in recent months look to be correct.
In what will be their fourth season as kit supplier since replacing Under Armour in 2017, the American company have made a couple of changes for their next design.
It’s a bit of a mish-mash of recent home shirts, with white, navy and yellow all getting in there.
The home kit bears a distinct pattern on the white material and has a navy collar, with a yellow trim, and navy shoulder stripes.
Behind the scenes with Winks
Following on from last Thursday’s dire 3-1 defeat at Sheffield United, Jose Mourinho’s side bounced back as a Michael Keane own goal sealed an important three points for Jose Mourinho’s troops.
The team’s desire was questioned after the defeat in South Yorkshire but that was evident to see in N17 as the team put themselves about over the 90 minutes, with Son Heung-min and Hugo Lloris even having to be separated at half-time following an exchange of words.
So have the Tottenham players been too nice in the past?
“I wouldn’t say we’re too nice, no,” said the England international. “We’ve been on the receiving end of each other’s critiques before after some defeats or games when we haven’t been right. We’ve told each other.
Robinson on Lo Celso/Fernandes comparison
Former Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson would not swap Giovani Lo Celso for Manchester United sensation Bruno Fernandes.
Fernandes has been a hit since arriving at United from Sporting in January, but Robinson wouldn’t want him in North London if it meant giving up Lo Celso.
“Lo Celso has shown a side to his game that not many people, including myself, knew that he had,” he told Football Insider. “He is not afraid to do the hard yards and play as a holding midfielder as well as an attacking midfielder.

“I certainly would not swap him for Bruno Fernandes. Two outstanding players but Lo Celso has become key to what Spurs do. He’s settled and adapted to life in the Premier League very easily and very quickly.
“He looks to be a very astute signing along with Bergwijn. They are the type of signings that Spurs need. They have changed the team.
“Fernandes is a top player but I would not swap him for Lo Celso.”
