Canada Day 2020Nineteen immigrants across Canada became citizens in an online ceremony this Canada day.

This is the first time in history that people would take the oath of citizenship from coast to coast to coast at the same time.

Since April 1, Canada has held over 1,000 virtual citizenship ceremonies. The in-person ceremonies scheduled for late March were cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak.
