Blues boss Frank Lampard was keen to strengthen his attacking options this summer, and the imminent arrival of two of Europe’s most exciting attacking players will provide a boost ahead of next season.
But the west London side are not done yet, with reports claiming Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz is the next target.
The Germany international has enjoyed a stunning season in the Bundesliga, netting 16 goals in 41 appearances, with his form attracting a host of clubs, including Manchester United, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
The 21-year-old is expected to command a fee of over £80million if Leverkusen decide to sell the attacking midfielder.
And Chelsea have already received a small windfall that could help them fund any potential deal.
The Blues have already announced the sale of Mario Pasalic to Atalanta, with the midfielder having been on loan with the Serie A side this season.
The 25-year-old has been a regular in the side throughout the campaign, netting five Serie A goals and adding another five assists to his name.
Atalanta have been one of the teams of the season through Europe, and they have exercised the buy option in the loan, with the Blues set to receive £13.5million for the transfer.
Pasalic signed for Chelsea back in 2014 from Hajduk Split, but has not featured for the club and instead has spent time on loan at Elche, Monaco, AC Milan Spartak Moscow and Atalanta.

But his time with the Blues will come to an end on a permanent basis when the transfer window opens this summer.
Chelsea have also sold Nathan to Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro, who confirmed on Thursday that they have sealed a four-year deal for the midfielder.
According to Globo Esporte, Atletico are paying a fee of £2.7million for the 24-year-old’s services.
