Since its return we have seen a hat-trick from Manchester United star Anthony Martial, witnessed goal-line technology fail for the first ever and Liverpool have laid their hands on their first-ever Premier League title, ending 30 years of hurt.
Whilst actual football may have finally made its return, transfer talk is still a hot topic, as we move closer and closer towards the next window opening for business.
With that in mind, here is a round-up of all the very latest Premier League transfer rumours.
Manchester United expect departure
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted he expects Angel Gomes to leave the club this week.
The 19-year-old forward has failed to agree a new deal at Old Trafford and his current agreement is due to expire on Tuesday evening, making him available for a free transfer.
Speaking to MEN Sport , Solskjaer confirmed he expects to see him exit: “Got no news, So doesn’t look like it. To be honest, I’ve not heard from them last night or this morning.
“It seems like they haven’t managed to agree so the answer is probably short and yes, then.”
Liverpool lead Koulibaly hunt
Liverpool lead the chase for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, according to Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.
The Senegal international has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Manchester United and Manchester City among those previously attributed with an interest in his services.
However, newly-crowned Premier League champions Liverpool are now said to be in the driving seat for the 29-year-old as they look to bolster their defensive line and provide a new partner for Virgil van Dijk.
A deal for Koulibaly would not be easy to secure those, as it’s suggested he has a mammoth €100m asking price.
Man City to land Juventus ace
Manchester City are to sign Juventus talent Pablo Moreno in a deal that will see Felix Correira move to Turin, Goal reports.
Spain U18 international Moreno will reportedly have a medical in Manchester this week and the former Barcelona La Masia academy graduate will pen a four-year deal with Pep Guardiola’s side.
As part of the deal, Portugal U19 international Correira, who joined City from Sporting in 2019, will move in the opposite direction.
Correira has spent the season on loan with Eredivisie outfit AZ Alkmaar, contributing three goals and five assists for their U21 side.
Everton and West Ham target available
Everton and West Ham could be alerted by the availability of Torino defender Ola Aina, CalcioMercato states.
The former Chelsea youngster has caught the eye since moving to the Serie A side in a €10m deal, reportedly attracting the interest of Everton and West Ham in the process.
Now, an opportunity to sign the full-back could emerge as it’s stated that Torino will listen to offers when the transfer market opens.
However, they are looking to recoup the fee they paid Chelsea for his services previously and a decline in form for Aina this season could affect interest.
